Anthony B. Phillips, originally from Detroit, MI is an actor, writer and content creator.  You may have seen him on television in one of his 12 national commercials or maybe on television shows like TNT's Perception or MTV’s Awkward. He has also appeared in many regional theatre productions, most notable in the off-broadway production of Superior Donuts as the lead character Franco Wicks at the San Diego Repertory Theatre. 

He recently co-wrote and co-produced the short film Love Escapes Us. The cycle of love and heartbreak as told through the experiences of two people who fall in love during the wrong season. Love Escapes Us went on to win several awards, including the One Lens Film Festival’s "Audience Award" and the Essence’s Short Film Contest. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a BA in Advertising. He previously attended Norfolk State University on a Division 1 Football scholarship where he became an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.
